The Heroic Love of Jesus Christ

This week our nation remembered those who died in the Aurora, Colorado, theater shootings, and honored those men who sacraficed their lives protecting their friends. A hero is someone who performns a commendable act for which they are not morally obligated to do. Virtue is doing that which is right, and what should be done. Heroism is going above and beyond...and the greatest act of heroism ever was the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of sinners like you and me. "Oh the love that drew salvations plan Oh the grace that bro't it down to man Oh the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!"
