NASA Goes Below, Inside and Above Tropical Weather

NASA researchers with the Tropical Composition, Cloud and Climate Coupling, or TC4 experiment discuss the airborne campaign and their science objectives. The research explored tropical regions to determine how greenhouse gases affect Earth’s climate. NASA’s ER-2, DC-8, and WB-57 aircraft were used to collect data of clouds and water vapor around the Costa Rican tropic regions.
