Supplementary Movie 2 Timelaepse Imaging of IR-labeled RIV, AVB, CEM Neurons, and AMso Glia after Precursor Induction at AB128. The AVB neuron (blue) projects a short dorsal axon (6h:40m) and then the cell body pivots around the attachment point to extend an axon dorsally in a retrograde manner. The RIV neuron (green) first extends an axon in the nerve ring (6h:45m - 7h:20m), and subsequently the cell migrates posteriorly laying down the proximal part of the axon. Note that the CEM neuron (orange) extends a dendrite before dying. Fluorescence images are replicated with (left) and without (right) annotations. Time from fertilization is approximated based on the comma stage (7h:10m post-fertilization).
